The Lauder Institute Alumni Association (“we,” “our,” “us,” or “LIAA”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit lauderlove.com (the “Website”).
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

We collect data you provide directly (e.g., forms, donations) and data collected automatically through cookies or analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Cookies and analytic tools are used to measure the performance of LIAA marketing and engagement including some individualized data.
We may incorporate data retrieved from third parties, whether publicly available or private data which we have acquired, into our data. We may receive from third parties including but not limited to AffiniPay data such as verification of purchases for LIAA events. We cannot assure the accuracy or comprehensiveness of this data. AffiniPay uses encryption, tokenization, and other access controls to ensure data security and is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. LIAA bears no responsibility for the data confidentiality practices of these third parties whose data policies you may individually research. LIAA does not collect or retain payment data such as credit card information. In limited cases, LIAA may collect account information to reimburse vendors and volunteers; LIAA securely stores this data on DropBox.

We may share your information with trusted service providers (e.g., payment processors, email platforms) solely for the purposes listed above. We do not share or sell your data to third parties for their own marketing or other purposes.
We may share data such as users’ name, home address, and prior alumni engagement with certain third parties for the purpose of fundraising campaigns and other activities. These third parties include but are not limited to MajorDonors.com, DonorSearch, Aspire, Wild Apricot, Google, Meta, PayPal, the University of Pennsylvania, Lauder Global Alumni Weekend, Inc. (“LGAW”), and volunteers and service providers on behalf of LIAA and LGAW. Wild Apricot uses encryption, multifactor authentication, and other access controls and is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. LIAA bears no responsibility for the users’ data once it is transmitted to third parties.
Certain data retained by LIAA is accessible to other users through the alumni database hosted on Wild Apricot. Access is limited to members of the LIAA and should not be extended to those sharing a household or other personal or professional relationship with an LIAA member. As specified in Section 5 of the LIAA Code of Conduct (https://lauderlove.com/Code-of-Conduct), it is forbidden for users to engage in certain prohibited behaviors, including but not limited to using for commercial purposes data that LIAA has made available through its database.
LIAA uses Wild Apricot and DropBox to securely store and share files containing user data. LIAA uses Google Drive for certain files pertaining to the organization’s business, but does not transmit user data on this platform or over email. No method of transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If the systems of LIAA or third parties containing LIAA data are breached, when we become aware, we will notify you of the breach to the extent required by New York law in a timely manner.
LIAA typically retains user data indefinitely, unless otherwise requested or required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 11).
You may have the following rights depending on your location:
