OutLaud, An LGBTQIA+ Affinity Group for Lauderites, launch meeting

Building on the momentum of Pride Month and the successful starts of our Lauder Women and Black@Lauder affinity groups, LIAA is excited to announce the launch of our newest affinity group: OutLaud, An LGBTQIA+ Affinity Group for Lauderites!

For years, Lauder has enjoyed a robust, vibrant, and diverse LGBTQIA+ community that spans the globe. To honor, ignite, and unite this community, OutLaud aims to create a supportive and empowering network for LGBTQIA+ Lauderites. The group will serve as a safe space for sharing stories, celebrating achievements, and providing guidance to current students who may be exploring their identities and seeking mentorship. Together, we can build lasting connections, champion inclusivity within our professional spheres, and contribute to positive change in our global communities.

If you are a member of Lauder's LGBTQIA+ community, please join our very first meet-up at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 27 via Zoom and join our WhatsApp group. During this first meeting, we will introduce ourselves, get to know one another a bit better, and chart a course for the many shapes OutLaud might take. We hope to see you there!
