Raising bilingual children is a challenge, but is particularly difficult for Chinese given its written language. There is no silver bullet, and many variables: location, school availability, parental goals, etc. This discussion will be centered around two questions we all face: 1) what is our true objective for our children’s fluency level, and 2) how strict do we want to be, and when do we let go? Amongst us are many with experience and this is a chance to share what has worked (and what has not). Alums from all language groups are welcome.
Kindly facilitated by Davin A. Mackenzie ‘89 & Ellene Hu ’03.
This virtual gathering will be held June 24th at 8:00 PM ET / June 25th at 8:00 AM Beijing Time.
Registrants will receive a confirmation email containing the zoom link.
